Pastor Shane Idleman is still preaching at Westside Christian Fellowship. He went on an hour-long bike ride yesterday. He swam laps with his daughter at the park. And he's doing all of it while battling Stage 3 cancer — without conventional chemotherapy or radiation.
In this powerful episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Pastor Shane Idleman — founder and lead pastor of Westside Christian Fellowship in Lancaster/Leona Valley, California, host of the Idleman Unplugged podcast and Regaining Lost Ground radio broadcast, and author of 12 free-download books — for one of the most honest cancer testimonies you'll hear this year.
Shane shares his prodigal-son story (a 1.8 high school GPA, dyslexia, alcohol and steroid addiction, bench-pressing 400 pounds as identity), the moment he fully surrendered to Christ, and how God moved him from being a 24 Hour Fitness district manager into writing his first book — What Works When Diets Don't. Then he walks through the cancer diagnosis, the surgery risks his doctors laid out (loss of speech, thyroid cancer return risk), why he's chosen for now to support his body's immunity through diet and alternative therapy while seeking the Lord, the "name and claim it" problem in modern faith healing, and his hard-won slogan: "His sovereignty is my sanity."
Shane is clear throughout: this is his path. He's not prescribing it for anyone else. He's seen God heal through conventional therapy. He's seen God heal through alternatives. He's seen God heal through nothing. And he's seen God call His saints home. The job, he says, is full surrender — and full trust.
Then John and Shane turn to two cultural moments: LA County firefighter Jeffrey Little, who was suspended without pay and received death threats after requesting a religious accommodation against the Pride flag mandate (the federal case is now advancing to trial); and Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett's recent remarks about "white men lecturing people of color." Shane gives the kind of bold, measured response only a pastor pastoring through cancer can give — when there's truly no Plan B but God.

MARIEN RICHARDSON did not hold back.
First: Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie posted on X announcing that transgender women are not welcome at his upcoming topless pool party. He said his team will be "checking Adam's apples." The internet melted down. Boosie doubled down. Mary Ann Richardson conservative commentator, cultural analyst, mother, and unapologetically pro-Black voice — calls him "an American hero" and walks through exactly why.
Second: A jury just sentenced Carmelo Anthony to 35 years for the stabbing death of a classmate at a school athletic event. The maximum was 99. Protesters outside the courthouse erupted, with one supporter calling the victim and his twin brother "domestic racist terrorists." Marien tackles the conversation almost no one wants to have honestly what the verdict reveals about a culture that affirms violence, the fatherless-home crisis driving young men to deadly force, and the brutal hypocrisy of how the Black community responds depending on who the victim was.
Third: Candace Owens won't stop coming for Erika Kirk. After months of public attacks on Charlie Kirk's widow, Turning Point USA released the footage Candace demanded — and she immediately labeled it AI. Marien breaks down her theory of what's really driving Candace's campaign (a falling-out with TPUSA before Charlie's death), why her credibility has collapsed since the move from research-based reporting to speculation, and the line that ends the conversation: "Her last name isn't Kirk."

Phillip Harding spent eight years building a company that's worked in 30 countries and reached 2 million people. Through that company's data, he learned something about the rising generation that floored him — and it wasn't the loneliness epidemic everyone talks about. Now he's running for Congress in Virginia to do something about it.
In this full episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Phillip Harding — Republican congressional candidate, entrepreneur, former presidential fellow, Harvard graduate, husband, father of three, and the unlikely commencement speaker who shared the stage with President George H.W. Bush, Aretha Franklin, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Phillip walks through how he ended up at Harvard from 3,000 miles away running for student president, what he saw inside the federal bureaucracy as a presidential fellow at the Pentagon and across federal agencies, the Battle of Yorktown lessons he's teaching his kids through "world schooling," and the unique data point his company surfaced that no one expected to be Gen Z's top concern. They also cover the Virginia redistricting fight (the now-famous "lobster district" gerrymander that was struck down), Governor Abigail's tax increases, the two extreme constitutional amendments on Virginia's November ballot (abortion until birth and gender language replacing biological sex), the California election integrity scandal, the Save America Act failure, and what Republican leadership keeps getting wrong.
Then John welcomes Frank Pavone, founder of Priests for Life, to respond to the viral YouTube couple who terminated their pregnancy after a Down syndrome diagnosis and then publicly complained about the backlash. Frank addresses what compassion actually looks like, why Iceland's near-100% Down syndrome termination rate is the warning sign no one wants to read, his now-famous challenge to abortion advocates — "describe what you defend" — and why people don't get abortions because of freedom but because of despair.

New York is about to pass a law that would replace the word "mother" with "gestating parent" in state family law. Governor Hochul — who proudly calls herself New York's "first mom governor" — has the bill on her desk. Stacy Washington has thoughts.
In this full episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Stacy Washington — Air Force veteran, Emmy-nominated TV personality, Sirius XM Patriot Channel host of Stacey on the Right, author of Eternal Counsel Proof, and one of the most unapologetic conservative voices in the country — for a fast-moving conversation about four stories that should wake every American up.
They cover the San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers laughing through the national anthem at the NBA Finals just weeks before America's 250th birthday, the new study showing 26 percent of Gen Alpha boys would rather have an AI girlfriend than a real one (with a viral clip of one dad showing his son exactly what's wrong with that), Pastor Jamal Bryant going on his podcast to defend ordaining openly gay bishops at Morehouse, and the New York bill that would change "mother" to "gestating parent" and "father" to "non-gestating parent" in actual state law.
Stacy goes to her 1969 Webster's Dictionary to define what "gestation" actually means, takes a hard line on the apostate preacher problem, prays over victims of childhood predators, and shares why she lost every friend she had when they found out she was a Republican — and how God replaced every single one.

Victor Marx survived six stepfathers, 14 schools, 17 houses, and abuse most people couldn't carry. Years later, in a counselor's office, he was asked a question he'd been avoiding his entire life: "Where was Jesus when all of that was happening to you?" What Jesus showed him when he finally asked is one of the most powerful moments you'll hear in any testimony — and it set him free. In this conversation on Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Victor Marx — Marine veteran, seventh degree black belt, world record holder for the fastest gun disarm, founder of All Things Possible Ministries, and current Republican candidate for governor of Colorado. They go back to the beginning: the biological father who once held a pistol to Victor's mother's head, the stepfather who beat him with measured cruelty, the night they hid in a closet and heard something demonic on the other side of the door, the moment as a five-year-old when he walked up an invisible stairwell and Jesus reached out and grabbed his hand. Then Victor shares the vision that changed his life. The day Jesus didn't strike his stepfather down. The day Jesus did something far more powerful — He stepped between Victor and the belt and took the beating with him. If you've ever asked where God was when you were hurt, this is the conversation you need. Share it with someone who needs to hear it. First up: Bonnie Wallace, parental rights advocate, leadership team member at Recover America, and the plaintiff now suing Houston ISD with Remnant Law and Pacific Justice Institute. Bonnie has been to 164 school board meetings, her documented book list runs 2,036 titles, and she just watched three police officers escort her out of a Houston school board meeting and 150 yards to her car — for reading from a book the district itself approved for 14-year-olds. John and Bonnie walk through the original Llano County lawsuit, the Fifth Circuit's landmark ruling that library curation is "government speech," the Chiles v. Salazar Supreme Court decision, what happened when John's Bible was stolen after the Sugar Land school board meeting, and Bonnie's blunt take on the drag performer claiming children need drag shows.
Then David Pollack, host of David Pollack Prime Time on One America News Network, joins to break down the Spencer Pratt earthquake in Los Angeles. Pratt — yes, the reality TV star from The Hills — just forced Karen Bass into a runoff, has challenged her to weekly Friday night debates between now and November, and is bringing real solutions to communities Democrats only show up in on Election Day. David and John cover the homeless industrial complex paying nonprofit executives $500K while LA streets fall apart, the Skid Row mother's heartbreaking story, why gang leaders are backing Pratt, and what Republicans nationwide have to learn from how he's winning.

Marc Lynch is running for the United States Senate against Lindsey Graham and Graham has already spent over $1 million attacking him.
In this episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Marc Lynch, the South Carolina businessman and ordained deacon challenging Senator Lindsey Graham for his seat. Lynch opens up about hitting rock bottom, meeting his wife in a recovery meeting (38 years married), building his family's appliance business from 5 to 110 employees debt-free, and why God's work in his life is now the foundation of his campaign. Roughly 15 to 20 percent of his staff has come through recovery — the kind of redemption story most politicians can't tell.
John and Marc go straight at Lindsey Graham's record: the $5.67 billion he voted to allocate to fund illegal aliens, the reported $122 million in USAID funds tied to NGOs working with Hamas and Al-Qaeda, the $4.2 trillion debt increase under his tenure on the Budget Committee, his Logan Act-adjacent diplomacy with Zelensky, and the leaked Podesta email reportedly naming Graham as "the greatest ally" the Democratic Party ever had. Plus the South Carolina poll: 57 percent say they'll never vote for Graham again.
John and Crystal then react to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser declaring D.C. "the gayest city in the world," the viral "Strange One, Fabulous One" woke church prayer, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee's Nuclear Family Month resolution, Jay-Z calling MAGA "the ops" while Trump pardoned his Roc Nation CEO, and the conversation about black fatigue and why the lowest-performing members of the community keep getting platformed as the face of it🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? Joy Reid just said Republicans "hate Black and Brown people" but want them to "sing and dance" for America 250. Beau French fresh off a major upset victory in the Texas Railroad Commission race had a response.
In this episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Beau French, the unapologetic America First conservative who just defeated an incumbent backed by the Texas governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the House, the oil and gas establishment, and even a casino lobby reportedly tied to Chinese money. Outspent four to one, Beau won anyway and his story is exactly the kind of grassroots win the establishment is terrified of.
John and Beau cover what voters are really telling the Republican Party, why authentic MAGA candidates keep winning while establishment picks keep losing, the spiritual battle behind today's politics, and why "truth in love" is the only way forward. They react to Joy Reid's latest MSNBC tirade attacking Republicans and Black conservatives, break down Trump's unprecedented gains with Black male voters, and address the LA burned ballot story dropping just two days before the California primary. Plus Beau weighs in on Vanilla Ice's surprising take on the America 250 celebration, gas prices, the Iran situation, and what the Texas Railroad Commission actually does.

In this episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with JILLIAN ANDERSON KING — strategic communications expert, former Bachelor contestant, founder of The King's Firm, and Christian conservative voice — to break down what's actually happening in the LA mayor's race. They cover the viral Jesse Watters man-on-the-street segment, Pratt's viral AI campaign ads turning Karen Bass into the Joker, the brilliant "I'm not MAGA but..." grilling ad, and why career politicians are losing to authenticity. Then the conversation turns personal. Jillian opens up about her own time on reality TV — how producers psychologically manipulate contestants, the "Carly's getting the rose" trick, what happens to your faith when you're famous overnight, and how Hollywood ostracizes openly Christian conservatives. From Mel Gibson to Justin Bieber, she names names and explains the cost of standing on truth in an industry that demands you bow to "the king." At 17 he made a decision that sent him to prison. Today he's the Republican nominee for Congress in one of the toughest districts in Texas — and he just won his runoff with 57% of the vote. In this episode of Disturbing the Peace, John sits down with Pastor Everett Jackson, the GOP nominee for Texas's 30th Congressional District (Jasmine Crockett's former seat) for his first in-depth conversation since winning the runoff. They go straight at the issues: his faith-driven path through politics, the likelihood of a Trump endorsement, whether the Texas GOP will actually back his race, and his unfiltered take on his Democrat opponent — longtime pastor Frederick Haynes III. The conversation gets real about what Jackson calls the corruption of the modern Black church, the role of "victimhood rhetoric," black liberation theology in the pulpit, and what it's going to take to turn the Black church back into a house of God instead of a political machine. John and Jackson also react to Vince Everett Ellison's viral clip calling Frederick Haynes and other Black preachers apostates, and to Jemele Hill's CNN appearance attacking Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart for introducing President Trump at a rally.
